In a recent move to secure his reputation, if not his State, Governor Newsom of California declared the most populace state in the Union a “CoronaVirus Free Zone”. Publicity stunt or not, this declaration mirrored the arrogant simple-mindedness of many of that state’s politicians. Simply declaring a Free Zone will not stop the flow of pandemic diseases any more than Gun Free Zones have succeeded in stopping any person intent on killing fellow humans.

California’s over-population problem is manifested in its homelessness, Potable Water, loss of Agricultural land and other Crises, resulting in large part from the 400,000 Legal Immigrants plus Illegal Aliens who settle in California each year. Seen over half a life-time, California's population has grown from 15 million to 40 million, due mainly to Mass foreign Immigration.

These  Realities have engendered in the Mainstream Media the same determination to hide the truth as seen in China regarding the latest threat to world health: CoronaVirus.

Large concentrations of people in confined areas such as cities and ghettos is the ultimate breeding ground of disease. Humans  in confined quarters have been the condition for every major pandemic since before fleas jumping from one host to another spread bubonic plague in 14th Century Europe.

The fact that the Bubonic Plague has returned to California, along with typhus and other previously-eradicated diseases, should come as no surprise (See BALANCE’s recent Alert). Neither should the fact that the Chinese government appears to be concealing the severity and extent of CoronaVirus’s spread. In a city of tens of millions such as Wuhan, how virulent does a virus need to be to affect hundreds or thousands? When meningitis can spread through a college dorm of perhaps a few hundred with a simple kiss, does anyone doubt that a virus can spread to thousands through breathing droplets in air exhaled by others.

With the help of a complicit Media, California has been successful in concealing health issues which are, in large part, a consequence of Mass Immigration and its corollary, population growth which exceeds environmental carrying capacity. Health problems result in part from crowding and in part from the re-introduction of diseases that had long be eliminated or controlled in the United States. The  Media raises the volume on its standby clarion call of “racism” to conceal the full extent of the viral pandemic in China and, in the United States, the upsurge in tuberculosis, measles, dengue and other human-contact diseases as well as the spread of typhus (a disease unknown in the West for over a hundred years) carried by rats in homeless encampments in San Francisco and Los Angeles – only two of the many cities in the US that can now boast a return to  the Dark Ages of human history.

A recent article at ZeroHedge.com confirms the worst scenarios (i.e., the Truth) about China’s cover-up.

Ten days ago, shortly after China first started reporting the cases and deaths associated with the coronavirus epidemic, a UK researcher predicted that over 250,000 Chinese would be infected with the virus by February 4. And while according to official Chinese data (Unfortunately, this URL is no longer available on the NHC in China), the number of infections has indeed soared in the past two weeks, at just under 25,000 (and roughly 500 deaths), it is a far cry from this dismal prediction, about ten times below that predicted by the epidemiologists. Is this discrepancy possible? Is the epidemic truly far less serious than conventional epidemiological models predicted? Or is China merely hiding the full extent of the problem?

After all, it the WSJ itself reported in late January , China was explicitly manipulating the casualty number by listing pneumonia as the cause of death instead of coronavirus. Subsequent reports that Wuhan officials were rushing to cremate coronavirus casualties before they could be counted did not add to the credibility of the official data.

But the biggest hit to the narrative and China's officially reported epidemic numbers came overnight, when a slip up in China's TenCent may have revealed the true extent of the coronavirus epidemic on the mainland. And it is nothing short than terrifying.

As the Taiwan Times reports, over the weekend, "Tencent seems to have inadvertently released what is potentially the actual number of infections and deaths, which were astronomically higher than official figures", and were far closer to the catastrophic epidemic projections made by Jonathan Read.

According to the report, late on Saturday evening, Tencent, on its webpage titled "Epidemic Situation Tracker", showed confirmed cases of novel coronavirus (2019nCoV) in China as standing at 154,023, 10 times the official figure at the time. It listed the number of suspected cases as 79,808, four times the official figure.

And while the number of cured cases was only 269, well below the official number that day of 300, most ominously, the death toll listed was 24,589, vastly higher than the 300 officially listed that day.

This was not the first time Tencent has done this: as Taiwan Times notes, Chinese netizens have noticed that Tencent has on at least three occasions posted extremely high numbers, only to quickly lower them to government-approved statistics.

This is where it gets even more bizarre: contrary to claiming that this was just a "fat finger" mistyping of data, observant Chinese netizens also noticed that each time the screen with the large numbers appears, it shows a comparison with the previous day's data which demonstrates a "reasonable" incremental increase, much like comparisons of official numbers.

This led many in the mainland to speculate that Tencent has two sets of data, the real data and "processed" data.

In short, two camps have emerged: one, the more optimistic, speculates that a coding problem could be causing the real "internal" data to accidentally appear. The other, far more pessimistically inclined, believes that someone behind the scenes is trying to leak the real numbers, as "the "internal" data held by Beijing may not reflect the true extent of the epidemic."

Indeed, as repeatedly pointed out here and according to multiple sources in Wuhan, many coronavirus patients are unable to receive treatment and die outside of hospitals. Furthermore, a severe shortage of test kits also leads to a lower number of diagnosed cases of infection and death. In addition, there have been many reports of doctors being ordered to list other forms of death instead of coronavirus to keep the death toll artificially low.

What is the truth?

We leave it up to readers, but keep this in mind: on Jan 29, Zeng Guang, the chief scientist of epidemiology at China’s CDC, made a rare candid admission about why Chinese officials cannot tell people the truth in an interview with the state-run tabloid Global Times: "The officials need to think about the political angle and social stability in order to keep their positions."

And then, on Monday, none other than China Xi's called on all officials to quickly work together to contain the Coronavirus at a rare meeting of top leaders, saying the outcome would "directly impact social stability in the country."

Well, if China is mostly concerned about social stability - as it should be for a nation of 1.4 billion - it is easy to comprehend why the entire political apparatus in China would be geared to presenting numbers which seem somewhat credible - in light of the barrage of videos of people dying on the street - but not so terrifying as to cause a countrywide panic.

Then again, if China indeed had over 154,000 cases and almost 25,000 deaths as of 5 days ago, then no attempts to mask the full extent and true severity of the pandemic have any hope of "containing" the truth.

In California, as well as elsewhere in the Leftist-run cities of the US, disease is an accepted “virtue-signaling” opportunity. As a result, the illegal carriers are entitled to all the U.S. Taxpayers-funded Benefits to which all the Legal Immigrants (400,000 per year! – U.S. Census) who already settle ANNUALLY in California alone, are entitled.

Those Benefits (NOT generally accorded to American Citizens) include “Free” Medical Care, Welfare, Food Stamps, Section 8 Housing etc., which nearly 70% of those 400,000 use and which the NET (after subtracting Taxes Immigrants pay) Cost is $758 Million per Year per Congressional District (see CCN Net Costs Study) not including additional State and Local costs.

One Extraordinary Consequence of this Taxpayer-subsidized 400,000 Annual Legal Immigrant Flow into California, and the 1.2 Million into other States, is that the subsidized Immigrants are able to displace the lowest American Wage Earners from Housing. Frankly, this intensifying displacement is one Main (but not only) Cause of Homelessness!

So given the foregoing, it was, last November, Critical to Stop S.386 and to stop Senator Lee (AKA “the Senator from Mumbai”) from Merging S.386 with Senator Durbin’s (D-IL) Open Borders “RELIEF” ACT (a de facto Open Borders/Unlimited Legal Immigration Bill).

Unfortunately, though we and our ASAP! Coalition Allies temporarily stopped it, Senators Durbin and Lee did a Midnight Bill Merger just before the end of the December, 2019 session and we expect an attempt to pass this Merged Bill in the Senate any week now. Worse, in addition, the House also passed and sent to the Senate, H.R. 5038 and H.R. 6 which could also be merged.

And as well, he outrageous “New Way Forward Act”, H.R. 5383, would require U.S. Taxpayers to pay for the return to the USA of Convicted and Deported Illegal Alien Criminals and H.R 5038 would:

  • Amnesty 1.5 Million Illegal Alien farmworkers and give them Green Cards, a Path to Citizenship and would fund the aforementioned Benefits (Health Care etc.) and additionally provide money for Housing Assistance! More housing displacement and suffering for our poorest Citizens!

And H.R. 6 would not only Amnesty the 10 Million Plus DACAs but also the Millions on Temporary Protected Status, with all the aforementioned Benefits!
World population increases by 80 Million per Year, therefore pressure to come to the USA will only increase. So consider how the Ongoing Trends can get Much Worse
Specifically, consider the Impending Fate of California (though the following also apply to many other highly immigration-affected States):

  • Additional Homelessness at our very doorstep.
  • More “Far Left Rule” in California, and elsewhere, and an intensifying attack on the 1st and 2nd Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.
  • Ever increasing Taxes and Asset Expropriation.
  • More loss of Social Cohesion, as documented by Harvard Professor "Bowling Alone" Putnam.
  • More Property Expropriation (cf. La Raza Park in San Diego and Sharia Law No-Go Zones in California and Across the USA (about which the Mainstream Media is Silent) in light of California’s Sanctuary State Status which de facto Nullifies our Federal Law Protection. Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claims all of California is the Property of “Her People.”
  • More Threats of Personal Injury (cf. the Spring, 2018 Video of “Whites” on the U.C. Berkeley Campus being prevented by hundreds of non-whites from using the Sather Gate Bridge and forced to ford the Rain-swollen Strawberry Creek for 3 hours (because these Americans allegedly have White Privilege).
  • This burgeoning pro-Open Borders leftist-Marxist Ideology supports the strengthening ANTIFA Thugs (see CCN’s Alerts on Cultural Marxism at carryingcapacity.org) Attendees at the recent Ann Coulter Speech on the Berkeley Campus were physically threatened and abused.
  • Decreased likelihood of Eliminating Sanctuary City & State Status. unless the recent D.O.J. Action is successful.
  • Intensifying Environmental Crises (see below). Average annual Legal Immigration into the USA is 1.6 Million people (400,000 per year into California alone exacerbating the housing crisis, homelessness, crowding, traffic jams, pollution, waste production and costs to taxpayers, etc.).
  • About 80% of California’s population growth comes from the annual 400,000 per year LEGAL immigrant inflow.
  • “For every person added to the U.S. (or California’s) population, one acre of prime farm land or Natural Habitat is converted to developed uses.” (Cornell, Pimentel, et al.) Population growth increases demands on natural resources.
  • And VERY IMPORTANT: Increasing water demand from urban growth leads to withdrawing parched agricultural land from production.
  • California farmers and cities have already drawn down California’s Central Valley Aquifer as have the Midwest farmers the Midwest USA’s Oglalla Acquifer.  Desalination is expensive, capital intensive, and the amounts produced are tiny relative to the amounts demanded by farmers and cities’ growing populations. Major cities in California and elsewhere are already resorting to “Toilet to Tap” water recycling, e.g., Orange County.

And the ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES are Negative too:  While population growth often increases aggregate GDP, it always (no Nation is an exception) reduces per capita GDP, which is the best test of a Nation’s Wealth and individual well-being.

  • It is difficult if not impossible to stop most illegal immigrants unless one reduces the Magnet of Legal Immigration “Slots”.
  • And focus on Specifics, e.g., How can communities and the nation ever ameliorate our intensifying Homelessness Crisis by annually welcoming in  1.6 Million Legal Immigrants per year with Taxpayer-funded Health Care, Welfare etc. Benefits, PLUS Amnestying 1.5 Million Illegals, many of whom would be provided with Taxpayer-funded Housing Assistance, as H.R.5038 does?! Or HR 6 which would Amnesty (i.e., legalize) Hundreds of Thousands of Illegal Aliens.
  • And the Costs: U.S. Taxpayers Pay $330 BILLION PER YEAR NET (after subtracting taxes Immigrants pay) to pay for the federal costs of LEGAL Immigration alone (cf CCN Cost Study). That’s about $758 Million per Year per Congressional District and does not include Net State and Local Costs.

And consider the Potential, and Actual DISEASE implications of continuing to allow MASS Immigration!
